4 Drink Drivers Arrested Daily In Mansfield….Don’t risk it!

It’s approaching that time of year again where you hear the words ‘Eat, Drink and be Merry’ and ’tis the season to be jolly’, well firstly let’s remember the ones that are not with us any longer. The ones where their lives where cut short through no fault of there own, the ones that were being responsible, the ones that chose to leave their vehicles at home.
After recently taking a look at this report it’s sickening as a Father myself that these figures are still as high as they are and to be honest here’s me thinking that drink driving was a fad from the 80’s and 90’s.
How wrong could I be?

Chief Inspector Andy Charlton of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Drinking and driving is still too prevalent on our roads as these figures show. The problem hasn’t gone away.
“Here in Nottinghamshire on average we arrest four drink drivers every single day of the year. We can all play a part in stopping it – if you know or suspect someone drinks and drives try to discourage them, but if they won’t listen to you ring us and report them – anonymously if you like on the Crimestoppers number (0800 555 111) – and we’ll stop them before they go on to kill or injure themselves or others.
“No one deserves to die on our roads.”
